About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Family Law Attorney to join our team. The attorney will manage all aspects of family law cases, and be responsible for maintaining billable hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage family law cases through resolution, ensuring each step is handled with diligence and professionalism.
  • Develop and implement legal strategies that align with clients' goals and the firm's mission.
  • Conduct legal research, draft documents, and prepare for hearings and trials, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Maintain open communication with clients to keep them informed and supported throughout the case.
  • Achieve a minimum of 30 billable hours per week, ensuring that all work is accurately billed and documented.
  • Proactively monitor billing and payment statuses.
  • Establish strong client relationships through regular updates, clear communication, and setting realistic expectations.
  • Address client concerns promptly and with empathy, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.
  • Adhere to all legal and ethical guidelines in managing family law cases.
  • Comply with firm policies on document management, client communication, and billing.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in Alabama.
  • Deep knowledge of family law statutes and legal procedures.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional client service.

Requirements

  • A reliable home office setup, including a computer, high-speed internet, and any other necessary equipment to perform job responsibilities remotely.

  • Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
