Job Title: ELECTRICAL Project Manager - Medium and Low Voltage

Assistant Level/ someone with a few years experience

Location: Albany, New York

A well-established and growing electrical and general contracting firm is seeking experienced Electrical Project Managers and Electrical Engineers to join their team. The company has been a trusted provider of electrical and general contracting services across the property, commercial, industrial, government, higher education, private, and solar construction sectors for nearly 15 years.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage electrical projects from planning through execution, ensuring adherence to budget, timeline, and safety standards.
• Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to drive project success.
• Review and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications.
• Supervise on-site electrical work, ensuring compliance with NEC, local regulations, and industry standards.
• Assist in estimating, bidding, and project scheduling to optimize workflow.
• Provide technical expertise and problem-solving support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Utilize BIM and other project management tools for efficient planning and execution.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (preferred) or extensive field experience.
• Proven experience managing electrical projects in commercial, industrial, or government sectors.
• Strong knowledge of medium & low voltage systems, fire alarm, security, and telecommunications.
• Familiarity with project management software.
