Assembly Technician

Job Type: Full-Time, 40 hours/week  

Work Environment: On-Site  

Hourly Rate: $15-23/hour  

At NEOEx Systems, we are working on an Energy and Power System and a Liquid Hydrogen Refueling System, which will revolutionize drone transportation by providing energy and power for longer duration and range operations. We work closely with UAV manufacturers to integrate our energy and power system into their vehiclesto increase flight duration.  

NEOEx Systems, Inc. is seeking a skilled and reliable Assembly Technician. You will be responsible for assembling, fabricating, and operating mechanical systems and equipment to support the operations department. This is an excellent opportunity for a detai l-oriented individual with a desire to work in the growing industries of air mobility and energy.  

Duties:  

• Operating basic hand tools such as drill, center punch, screw/nut drivers, wrenches, ratchets, crimpers, wire strippers, etc.  

• Completing basic fabrication which will require measuring, drilling, tapping, and cutting metal parts.  

• Connecting wires for equipment such as pumps, sensors, blowers, and lighting.  

• Loading and unloading trucks for deliveries.  

• Assembling mechanical units and parts using hand and light power tools.  

• Read and interpret production drawings and work instructions (written and verbal) to assemble components into finished products.  

• Conducting basic testing and part inspections.  

• Driving to local vendors to pick up or drop off small parts and assemblies.  

• Ensuring safety and cleanliness standards are followed at all times.  

• Preparing products for shipment.  

• Performing maintenance of equipment, workspaces, and operations areas.  

Qualifications:  

• A Valid Driver’s License  

• Must be self-motivated and possess strong organizational skills  

• Ability to speak and write proficiently in the English language  

• Experience using Microsoft applications  

• Experience using video teleconferencing applications(i.e. Zoom or Teams) 

• Ability to hear audible alarms  

• Ability to work with others in a team environment and independently  

• Ability to lift 20-40 pounds regularly  

• Strong understanding of assembly instructions, blueprints, and quality standards.  

Education:  

• High School Diploma or GED  

Work Experience:  

• Experience in manufacturing and assembly is preferred  

• Experience building objects from drawings, diagrams, and schematics  

• Experience with hand and power tools  

• Experience in fabrication  

• Experience working in varied indoor and outdoor conditions
